There are eighteen emissions testing locations in Colorado and they all follow the same hours and schedule.  They are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

The emissions testing centers are closed on Sundays and on all state holidays.

The average time an emissions test will take is 20 minutes.  The stations will give an approximated wait time, that time will include your wait time plus the 20 minutes of test time, so if the approximated wait time is 45 minutes, that is 25 minutes of waiting and 20 minutes for the test.
