Call for Abstracts and Papers

Parties interested or involved in emissions trading are invited by the EMA Board of Directors to submit abstracts of papers for possible presentation at the 8th Annual Fall Meeting and International Conference of the Emissions Marketing Association to be held in Toronto, Canada, September 19-22, 2004.

Abstract Topics
The EMA Fall Program Committee has set a list of preferred topics for the 8th Annual Fall Meeting & International Conference. A detailed list of abstract topics is posted on the EMA website at
http://www.emissions.org/conferences/fallconference04/abstract_topics.php.
While abstracts will be accepted on any relevant emissions trading topic, preference for will be given to papers submitted from one of the preferred topics. Abstracts for papers that are not on the preferred topic list will only be considered for the poster session.

Abstract Forms
Abstract forms and abstract preparation submittal instructions are located on the EMA website. Papers will be determined for presentation and/or poster session display through a blind-review process.

Submittal Date
Abstracts must be received by Friday, May 7, 2004 (5:00 pm CDT).

Electronic submission of abstracts via the EMA web site is preferred. Authors unable to submit electronically are asked to contact David Feldner to discuss alternate submission instructions.

Abstract Acceptance
All abstract authors will be notified in June, 2004 of the review and acceptance decision.

Accepted abstract authors (1 author per abstract) will be invited to prepare a presentation during the conference. Presentation materials must be received by the EMA by August 27, 2004.

EMA reserves the right to publish all accepted abstracts and presentation materials in the meeting program.

Those presenting papers or posters will receive a reduced meeting registration rate of US$250.
